Cotonoha is a stylish cafe´ and gallery located on route 330 in Ginowan City.
Owner Daryl Mitchell set out to create the perfect synthesis of food, art and music.
Daryl explained the thinking behind Cotonoha, “I enjoy art but it’s usually shown in a dry stale museum environment.
What I wanted was to create a dynamic place where people can enjoy art along with good food and laid back music.”
The interior of Cotonoha incorporates elements of both tropical and modern Asian design.
Comfortable teak furniture, subtle lighting and carefully positioned plants allow guests to relax,
while the walls showcase the talents of Japanese and international artists.
From 2 till 6 Cotonoha has a cafe´ menu with a selection of soups, sandwiches and cakes.
|
After 6, Cotonoha offers course dinners that are based around French and Italian cuisine.
If you are just looking for dessert then check out the coffee and cake set or simply enjoy a quiet drink at the bar.
The exhibits on show change monthly and vary from paintings and photography through to ceramics.
Cotonoha is open 2pm to 11pm Tuesday thru Sunday. It is located on the 330 in Ginowan 2.7 kilometers south of Futenma Shrine.
Free parking is available behind the gallery.
