Default Taking the monorail, where do I park?

For the heck of it tomorrow, a friend and I are taking the monorail from Furujima station to the Jusco in Naha (I can't think of the station name at the moment). It appears on Google Earth that the Furujima station is where 82 & 330 meet. So, my question is, where exactly does one park their car? I have a sedan, if that makes a difference at all.

That's the big problem with the monorail system. There's really no parking just for the monorail. Back when I lived in Naha, the one time I rode the monorail we had to take a taxi from our house to the monorail just to ride the monorail and then a taxi back home. So, it really didn't save us any money whatsoever.

Maybe they've improved things since then and actually have parking now. I don't know. But somehow I doubt it.

When we go down to ride the monorail (excitement for my kids). We usually park at the airport (kids like to see airplanes) or parking garages close to the monorail (money), or grocery stores (free).

But if you are going to Jusco and have car why not park at Jusco since its free?

There is no parking per say, but here is a suggestion go to the Omormachi Station which is next down the line. You could park your car at the Shintoshin SanEi and walk to the station, less than 5 minutes away. Then you could take the monorail to Naha JUSCO which is the Oroku Station

Edited to delete the google link to a map to おもろまち station. Sorry about that. It is only about 5 minutes away by car from the Furujima station and if you turn right at the lights just under the station on HWY 330 go two blocks, SanEI will be on your right, it is call Main Place.

Oh btw, have fun
