Default Aquarium =)

Ooh, so tomorrow, most likely (meaning if my husband actually wakes up in time to take me!), I'll be going to the aquarium. I've heard it's the second biggest in the world, is this true? What's it like, and does anyone know the hours of operation? Thanks.

Last I heard, it was the second biggest in the world. It's really awesome.

Here's a bunch of information about it from a few years back. It's probably still pretty accurate. http://www.japanupdate.com/?id=1005

It's pretty nice...We go about twice a year and spend a few hours.

We go there often since we have yearly passes. We go there mainly so the kids can play in the water fountain for hours, let them have their fun. Also let them see the fishes, have ice cream while watching the fish.

Yes, its the 2nd largest.

I went last sumer and it was the most wonderful place that I have been in a while. I can't tell you enough good things about the place. I will say something though. I would suggest making sure to bring a waterbottle or something cause it gets hot! (there are a lot of things to go and do outside)

have a great time!

Take a camera with plenty of space for pics.
We have a LOAD of pics from every time we went up there.

We took a lot of pictures, but we didn't stay as long as I would have liked to see everything because I got tired and hot really quickly. Bah.

I went once. My friend tried to convince me that you could choose your lunch at the cafe from the aquarium. Yeah. He was joking. It was nice, but I don't see me going "just because".

When I went we ate outside at some place, not sure what the name of it was, bt it was right outside near the dolphin thing. We had some good stuff that day. It was an awesome trip, well at least I thought so.

I went to the aquarium at Kagoshima this past weekend. It is very nice too, but not at all as large as this one. The outside design is much more appealing though.
