I've been there a few times, but didn't realize there was a water park there, too. I was reading something, and a picture of the signs in the water park was posted. One states that no tattoos may be visible... well, crud. I have three tattoos on my back. Is it expected for them to be covered, or is it a rule that was made but no one actually follows? One of them is always covered by my swim suit, but the other two are on each shoulder blade, so, not as easy to cover. I'll cover up if necessary, because that water park sounds like an awesome time.

I always go to chuliu with my buddies and they say that your tattoos have to be covered there too. But my buddy always goes with and he has three tattoos that he doesn't cover up. They never say anything to him, maybe because he's american.

I don't think people pay much attention to our tattoos. I think they are worried about the yakuza maybe. Here is a discussion about tattoos at Comp water park.

It is just a way an establishment can ban the Yakuza without stating "No Yakuza" I have a couple of Okinawan friends with Tats and they never say anything about theirs.

It's a nice place to relax and have a beer. I'd love to go there with my wife, but she refuses to go. She still think that she's "fat" and doesn't want to wear a bathing suit.
