Hello, I am new to the Island. Been here a little over a month. Can anyone point me to any bath houses in the Kadena/Foster area? Some that will allow Americans.

You need to go to Naha for that. Kadena is an all-American town - no bathhouses allowed!

There is one quite close to the intersection prior to the Plaza Shopping Center. Take a right turn at the intersection. It will be on the left.

From which direction are you talking about?

If you take a right coming from Foster on the left would be the Awase Golf Course.

You can go to chuliu. It's not true bath house it has a hot tub, healing pool, cold pool, and a warm pool. They also have a sauna and cold room (only open in the summer) too. Inside the locker room they have a small bath house, small healing pool, and a small sauna. My personal favorite is the healing pool, nice and hot and relaxing. But you have to watch out once you go there. Every once in a while (like last time I went) a group of young service men and women like to go and try and turn it into spring break. They seriously messed up the mood of that place last time I was there and I was pissed.

To get there just go to the chatan jusco. It's right behind jusco across the street from the big ass tower hotel (can't remember the name right now).
