It's way too early for me to say that I will be there. Chances are, I'll probably either be my family, or my fellow workers. Once you folks decide on a date, I can juggle my social calendar to make at least a brief appearance. Or, not.

Pretty much anyone that is married to an Okinawan won't be able to make it on New Years eve or New Years Day.

I thought weekend is good for you all (Friday and Saturday).
I had JU meeting on Manday in last December, but there were not
many people as like in this time.

we have 4 more month.

I want to have JU meeting as like last time. I want to houng out a lot of JU

It's hard GT since it falls after a holiday (Christmas) and during another holiday (New Years). Many of us have families to spend time with, Christmas parties, etc. I'll try to make an appearance but I cannot promise anything.

personally new years eve and new years day is bad for me. But also the 26th, the day after xmas... I usually have a housefull of people hangin around the day after. (big clean up, eating leftovers, playing w/ all the kids and their new toys and drinking!)

I was awoken by a cmail from gtlm this morning at 08:00 asking me to post ideas for this thread which is about an even that is happenning in FOUR MONTHS...

なんだよ?!

My only idea at this early point is Kitakaisen at the Chatan Sports Center. Depending on the date, we can reserve the party room and beer tap service for a small fee. I think they now take credit cards also. We may also be able to have smoking allowed in the private room for those who prefer. It's something that would have to be checked on.
