Default Borderlands

Anyone who has completed Fallout may enjoy Borderlands. It's similiar, but more linear. (So far)

I planned on ordering it and I like the co-op option as well. I was bummed XBL did not have a demo out of Borderlands.

You can scream out loud
But your panic falls on deaf ears
This is where you've brought yourself
And this is what you've always feared
There's a faceless crowd, with no sympathy
So you can scream out loud
But there's no one listening

Say so long to innocence
From underneath the evidence
You taste like Heaven
But God knows your built for sin

I'm waiting on the trainer as well.. I've had my ass handed to me too many times already. Even on the easy level, you get just so far, and get overwhelmed. Games that require too much time and effort are no longer games. Thats called work.

what version of the game do you have 360 or PS3...recommend you get online with some people since it co-ops up to four people

Borderlands is pretty damn fun, havent gotten bored of it yet. Like a Diablo FPS.
Like Trail said it is kinda linear, but eventually you do get more quest offers for killing and finding things.

Default Borderlands

I personally like the game. The graphics are almost dead on to the movie "A Scanner Darkly" and gives it an interesting feel. It's comic like but in real time, if that makes sense. The game play is definitely challenging (not difficult though) but with the re-spawning set up they way it is and the way mostly clear back to where you died, it's not really a PITA to die. The whole "second wind" is a sweet concept. That save my hide a few times. I picked Mordicai this time around and I am not sure if I am a fan of his "build." There isn't really a sniper aspect to it. You attack one critter, they all come running. There is no real stealth which pisses me off. The is the perk of a sniper build. Oh well...

I'm a level 7-8'ish and I am looking forward to co-op mode. The split screen is an awesome idea as well. All in all, it's a replayed game concept (Oblivion, FO3) but it's different in it's own right. I am happy with it so far.

I started out as Mor. Currently at lvl 23, he does take some time to build up his skills with bloodwing and the sniper rifle. However once you get some better gear with elemental dmg and a good hunter mod attached, you will be blasting heads off while bloodwing does the same while causing them to drop more items.

You do have to keep some of the other weapons on hand however because ammo manangment is kinda hard in the begining.

I am thinking starting a new game pretty soon to to play as lilith, do wish my hotel room had a better internet connection so I could play on live.

Did I begin this thread, or was it branched off from the Fallout thread?
