Any suggestions for something for me to do tonight? Keep in mind, I'm pregnant, so bars are out.

Sex is always a possibility! I mean you can't get any MORE pregnant right?

Yeah, okay so that'll entertain me for what, an hour (if that..), and I'm *technically* not supposed to be having sex, because then there is the chance of going into labor early, and I'm scheduled to have a C-section, which they would do even if I went in early, but who knows if I'd get the doctor I wanted if she's not on call. I would cry if some person I didn't know was doing the surgery on me.

Go ride the ferris wheel. Go into labor at the top and have the baby by the time you reach bottom! Hell of a story to tell the kiddo!

That is the exact reason why I'm not riding the ferris wheel until after I give birth, lol. My luck, I would get so scared on that thing and freak out and go into labor and be stuck on there for thirty minutes, crying the whole time. Haha.

If you're able to drive somewhere, walk around a Jusco or get a caffeine free ice tea at Starbucks and people watch. Catch a movie or rent one. Karaoke.
If you have to stay home, reorganise the photo albums... again. Paste together a collage of something from old magazines. Invite a neighbor over for a board game. Clean out your computer's hard drive.

Whatever you do, avoid doing housechores. :D

I actually can't do housechores. Only for a little while, or else my back/hip/knees/pelvic region start killing me. Bah, I have an excuse for everything.

I'd like to walk around the mall, but then I might be tempted to buy something, and plus, my husband is a jerk and hates taking me to the mall, but won't let me go by myself (because if something were to happen .. like I were to go into labor.. he would feel badly.)

I want some good pizza. Anyone know any places for that?

I like Shakey's for their Mojo potatoes and thin crust pizza. They accept $. There's also a DIY store and sad excuse for a mall that you can walk around. If you don't carry yen with you, then you won't be tempted nuy anything :) There's also a Mister Donuts and Blue Seal ice cream there. It's at Kadena Navel past the Kadena Marina north on HWY58, turn left at the Lawsons/KFC.

Walk on the beach barefoot that always soothed my wife and take an umbrella just in case it rains. Just a mans 2 cents

Shakey's? Where is that? Is it New York style pizza? As a pregnant woman who is about to explode, ... i has needs <3

It's at Kadena Navel past the Kadena Marina north on HWY58. Turn right out KAB gate 1. Turn left at the Lawsons/KFC.

It's not New York Style Pizza. It's Japanese thin crust. The closest American style pizza I've seen that is not on-base might be Pizza Inn (House?) something. I think they're still out KAB gate 1 behind the Family Mart(?) and car place. You're lucky. I can't keep pizza down yet. I still have nausea.

Shakey's isn't bad, but nothing beats the pizza from back home. Chicagoland has the best pizza in my opinion.

Agreed. For many, pizza back home, where ever that is for folks, is better than what is usually found here. I actually like Shakey's thin crust pizza here, but am really all about the potatoes there. Back home, I'd have to go with Papa John's pizza.

Hmm... That sounds familiar... I swear I used to eat at a place with that name...

The only reason I like papa john's is because of their garlic sauce I dip their pizza in.

I'll take one of the local pizzerias back home over any franchise pizza place.

Sure do wish that all of you over there, with nothing to do, would come over to the house to help us pack.

Last transmission from my end. Packing up the computer tomorrow.

Should arrive on Okinawa, on the 30th, around 8 pm.

Can't wait to come back home.:first:

Same here. Have a safe trip.

Be sure to bring some good reading material on the plane with you. If not, joining the mile high club should kill some time.

NBTP,

Don't worry I'm sure you'll have a safe flight, as long as you don't use china airlines.:D
