I wanted to start a poll on what is the nastiest fast food item. I am having a hard time coming up with anything to put up against the McRib... :barf: Any suggestions?

Anything with mayonaise in it. :barf:
Unfortunately, we don't eat as much fast food as we did before, so can't give you any options. I can offer some options for best fast food item though. :D

I also got the Sausage, egg & cheese McGriddle. Something about cheese and syrup together.
And also those "monster style" french fries from In & Out Burgers. I think they had something like chili, and Thousand Island salad dressing mixed together or something like that.

Ya'll may not have access to it, and I'm sure Socal has tried their fare.....but Wienerschnitzel's Chili Cheese Fries Burrito for $.99 has got to be about the farthest thing from real food or somewhat healthy meal. It's like they said "aww, **ck it.....we're here for all you people who just eat for taste and a low price and don't give a rat's ass about saturated fat or salt content or any of dat dere pussy-ass sh**." BTW, Wienerschnitzel's slogan is "pushing the boundaries of taste.".......
So....there you are......drunk as a skunk @ 1AM.....c'mon....you know you would!!

What about the omelet sandwich?
YUMMY!

That works out to 730 calories and 47 grams of fat -- more than a Whopper sandwich, which the Burger King Web site said has 700 calories and 42 grams of fat.

Actually I just remembered the nastiest fast food I saw in Oki. It had, without a doubt, to be the mac & cheese pizza from Anthony's.... I couldn't even stand to look at it... :barf:

Never had the Mac and Cheese pizza at Anthony's, but the one at CiCi's, my kids can't get enough....
Oh, but nasty food.......I have tried Katsudon, and I am not to fond of it.

It has to be the BARF POCKET :barf: Cardboard wrapped around the nastiest of fillings that never cook properly. Either a mouthful of volcanic crap or a bite of frozen mouth mush. But the 300+ calories and 40 grams of fat for EACH pastry filled with vomit certainly won't fill you up unless you eat both.

i know one thing that I'm starting to miss out here, the Mexican food from California, its the best, contends with Mexico. anyway the nasty thing out i think is the fish fillet at McD's, out right disgusting, but I'm not much of a sea food guy unless prepared a certain way (aforementioned) and tartar sauce is pretty bad as well.

The McPork here in okinawa sucks pretty bad, but I think Jack-in-the-Box 99-cent tacos take the cake in disgusting. The meat comes in the frozen shell, they drop it in a deep-fryer for a minute, add a half-slice of american cheese, generic 'taco sauce' from a squeeze bottle, and some of the burger lettuce. Throw it in a little bag and slap it on the counter. YUM!!!

That reminds me of an experience at one of those little AAFES greasy spoon diners that used to be up on Futenma. I ordered one of those jumbo hot dogs and the fry cook took one out of the freezer and dropped it into the french fryer.
It was very disturbing. To this day I can't eat a vendor hot dog without thinking about it.

Pfftt... bacon is cooked the same way in a diner most times. At least the dog was cooked in front of your eyes in grease you knew was hot vs. sitting out all day at questionable temperatures. :-|
Sorry, just trying to help the bad memory.
Subway is kinda fast food but I always wondered how people could eat the sub with EVERYTHING on it. I guess I am waaay too picky when it comes to my sandwiches but seeing that made in front of me grossed me out. They also ordered it with double meat as well and that sub had to have weighed 5lbs.

If you eat fast food you have to expect many things to be in there...you would really be surprised what happens in the fast food industry from processing to serving.
I still eat fast food too though...but I live under the idea that "what you don't know won't hurt you"
Go rent "Fast Food Nation", you may never eat a burger again!:-| (I mean...if a hair grossed you out)

Can we really call it fast anymore? I'm amazed at how slow the service is here in the states at just about every fast food joint. The worst part is when you wait for 15 minutes for your food and when you get it the fries are burnt and the burger is cold:cursing:.

I've had good fast food in the states since I've been back. But probably 3 out of 5 times I eat at a fast food joint the service is super slow yet the meal seems like it was sitting under the warmer all day. Last night I had some McDonald's and it took about twenty minutes to get my meal and it wasn't busy. Last month I got some taco bell and I swear it took 30 minutes! IDK maybe Japanese McDonald's spoiled me:D
I do know that around my hometown it is VERY hard to find good service at a fast food joint. I was suprised at how fast I got my meal at Ed Debvic's in downtown Chicago. That place was packed! No comment on the customer service:D

WOW.. that sucks.. maybe they dont like how you look or something...
Every once in a blue moon stateside stuff is cold or takes to long to get my food... But in reality its no more or less often than fast food service over here...
No, I bet it has a lot to do with the apathetic nature of the employees. Especially the fast food joints in northwest indiana and the chicago area. At least the McDonald's I waited twenty minutes for last night was hot and the fries were awesome:thumbup:

Gotta love themed restaurants...
After working in one (German), never again. I got way tired of polka, glockienspiels (sp?), and nasty rich German ladies who spoken German about you even though you understood them perfectly clear.

That's Ed Debevic's in Chicago. The food is decent the the staff is rude to you on purpose. I know it's weird to pay to eat at a place where the staff is rude and dances on the table but it's all part of the "downtown" Chicago experience IMO.
