Anyone have Madden 2008 yet?

I never really got into the whole football video game thing. Why would I want to play a video game about a sport? Just didn't make any sense to me. There are better games out there I would rather spend my money on.

Speaking of which, has anyone played gears of war?

Not me, never will unless i get it for free. I dont like FPS, all it is is shoot everything as fast as you can, as much as you can. There is no strategy, no plan, nothing, just run around and blow shit up.

That depends on what FPS you play. Halo 2 for instance. I have a two part strategy with that game. It was called cover, and aiming. Hide behind shit and don't run out in the open, and shoot at their heads. Always good at taking out the people who just spray bullets. I have decent aim so once people are running around in the open spraying each other with bullets, I just poke my head out of my hole and pop them off one by one.

Why would I want to play a FPS? When I can shoot someone and watch the blood spray for real! The same reason people play sports games...they aren't talented enough for the real thing! I'm 5'9" white and slow...I don't do well at football!

2. Impossible

3. You have absolutly no skill or talent to really do it

I can just see the local police department now if I decided to take the skills I learned in Grand Theft Auto and re-enact them in real life! :D

Biggest thing that pisses me off about madden 08 is the friggen fumbles...at least 1-2 a game.
