This may be a repeat thread but I was wondering where a good place to by a motorcycle off base would be. I do not need anything bigger than a 600 (I don't think anyone needs anything bigger than a 600) but I am not about shelling out a lot of money to some guy PCSing for a second hand bike. I do not need anything brand new just something that is fun to ride since I haven't been on in a while. Yes I already have the paperwork so that is not an issue.

Any help would be outstanding.

if you're looking for fun, cheap, and easy to maintain, i would recommend a Honda CRM250. It's a 2 stroke street legal dual sport bike. You can check for bikes on http://www.o-cross.net/ . if you can't read japanese you will need someone to help you out, but browsing is fairly easy. you can find oodles of bikes for under 4 grand or so.

EDIT: i meant to add that this website has bikes listed for shops all throughout okinawa.

if i buy a motorcycle here in oki can i ship it back with me to the states when i pcs or is it going to be difficult like a car?
