These forums are not for advertising. Thank you. :)
Feel free to tell us a little about yourself, but the classifieds are for advertising and the forums are for discussion and getting to know people.

When I saw, 1, 2,3 then 4 comments, I knew you would be swooping in soon to act accordingly.
So question, what crosses the line of discussing & advertising?
Like if someone says something that is in context can you mention your affiliation or is that still a no-no?
EX- someone gets on sayin we are moving to Oki in 3 mths and want some recommendations could she throw out her line that she works for an agency and to contact her? Would that be crossing or is it acceptable because it is in context?
(No particular case in question, I am just curious)

Basically, in this case, I work for ____ company. If you want some great deals on housing, PM me or email me.
Also, this was created in it's own thread ABOUT her company, which is the big reason I moderated it.
On the other hand, we have a discussion on Karaoke Bars and one of the local owners put in a note that he also runs a Karaoke Bar. I felt that since it fit into the context of the post it would be acceptable. We made the compromise of taking out the phone number and left it at that.
That form, where it's part of a discussion, I'd probably be more willing to allow. It really depends. I'm not a perfect moderator, and I will admit that occasionally I make choices based on my feelings at the moment. When I'm wrong, I correct those mistakes.
I guess, the best bet is to send me a PM if you have a question and I'll give you a yes or no and you can debate my choice with me through PM until we make a decision.
