Bacon, mushroom, tomato and garlic pizza from Broadway Pizza in San Diego. Tastes good, but the garlic is killer on the co-workers the next day!

I've never tried anchovies, and I'm not sure that I'm quite ready to take that leap.

Salami, spinach, mushroom, and feta cheese pizza....YUM! :)

That sounds awesome, minus the mushrooms.
I really liked that double decker pizza that Pizza Hut (er, Pasta Hut or whatever they want to be called now) sold a few years back. Stuffed Crust is good, but don't order it if it's not the weekend...trust me...I used to work there.

Damn Near anything from Edwardo's Or Giordano's...even their Spinach Pizza is great!
One of my favs is ham, pineapple, sliced tomato, and jalapeno.
Another is the Acciuge (sp) from Capricciosa - black olive, anchovies, onions, and garlic.
I love just about all flavors and toppings though, all depends what I'm in the mood for.
I also like the Bugolgi pizza BK, I had it at Pizza Hut in Korea.
Shrimp and mayo is good too (one of Pizza La's specialties).
go to philly or NY.. or many of the outlying suburbs.. walk into an italian mom and pop pizzeria... order a slice or two... put some red pepper and parmesan on it to yoru astse and enjoy...
Well, of course that's the ultimate but occasionally an explosion of toppings is nice, especially when you don't have an Italian mom and pop joint around.
December is gonna be awesome! Chicago and NY here I come!

i do love papa johns though......
in colorado there was a chain called pap murphy's..
they made the pizza with all the toppings on it you wanted then you took it home and baked it yourself..
talk about good eating!!!!!!!!!!!!
i dont know how many people here have been to italy.. i spent a lot of time there in my years...
the pizza there.. is nothing like what most of us thinks is pizza..
LOL! I used to work at Papa Johns in Tampa... Yea I don't eat there anymore.....

I like anything Papa John's has, but Japanese or Korean pizza can weird me out a bit. I'm not a huge fan of corn, mayo, or seafood on my pizza.

You should try Cafe 4th in Naha - http://www.japanupdate.com/forum/showthread.php?t=4381&highlight=excellent+lunch
They claim to be traditional Napoli style, brick oven pizzas. It's pretty damn good.

Not because you dissed my choice of hamburgers, but I think cafe 4th is a VERY poor 2ND to La Fonte in Shuri.

Here's a Curry Pizza for you PJ :
http://i120.photobucket.com/albums/o169/AshMiller1972/currypizza.jpg
sounds good but realistically i would probably never find it..
Well, if you ever get crazy and want to you just drive down 58 towards the airport but not that far. After you see Broadways gentleman's club on the left start looking for the big sign saying Okinawa Prefecture Office, then take that left and park in the first parking lot you see right on that corner, from the parking lot look back toward Broadways and you'll see Cafe 4th on the second floor of a building at the end of the parking lot - very easy to find.
La Fonte on the other hand, probably more difficult. Thanks VV, wife says she knows where it's at. I'll give it a try.

I like Papa John's plain cheese pizza with an assload of garlic butter.
I also like Luna Rosa's (place back home <33) veggie pizza that I used to get made just for me (someone that worked there loves me), it was spinach, articoke, broccoli, tomatoes, cauliflower, feta cheese... basically it had everything that Luna Rosa had to offer on it, besides meat (sometimes, some bacon, though). Soooooo goood.
I'm going to try making my own pizza this coming payday, though =)

I use to dig the Pizza hut Priazzo pies they had about 15-20 years ago. They were awsome. Pizza in the sky is nice, but I am wondering if driving for 2 hours means the pizza is that good or I was just that hungry?

Spicy sausage is my favorite :) Pizzala has it.
I don't really have a favorite topping, just depends on the mood. Maybe supreme some times or maybe hawaiian with jalapeno and tomato slices. Or sometimes just cheese or just sausage, or just pepperoni but I prefer sausage. As for pizza places - in Okinawa Kajinbo (pizza in the sky) is probably the best. Cafe 4th and/or Cappricciosa probably run a close second.
In the states I'd have to go with Geno's East for Chicago and any of many little Mom and Pop joints in the east (Pa, Oh, NY).

My favorite is ham, bacon, green peppers, onion, and pineapple. I always add Parmesan cheese ans garlic powder (mix together, garlic parmesan... yum) to it before I eat it as well. I dislike pepperoni but I don't mind sausage on a pizza. I can stand olives and anchovies on a pizza! :barf:
I think I'll make homemade pizza tonight now.

My favorite I miss from when I was stationed in Germany. A fresh baked brick oven pizza with fresh spinach, mushrooms and garlic. Sounds disgusting but it tastes great! In Italy a fresh egg would be dropped in the middle and called a Popeye.

Pizza LA is my favorite here in Okinawa. They deliver offbase only and are very pricey. The wife likes the Joy's special and I like the spicy italian. A large pizza runs about 3500 Yen and will feed 3-4 people.

BBQ chicken pizza on thin crust. It had LOTS of chicken, red onion, cheese, and garlic. Instead of pizza sauce they used BBQ sauce. Wow, it was just plain good.
