When I was a kid, the next door neighbor (he was 18) bought a brand new 1969 Roadruuner. It had the cartoon logo on the side, and the horn went "Beep Beep" like the cartoon. He gave me a ride in it, and it was loud and fast, right out of the factory.
During that same period, my best friend's big brother bought a 68 GTO. All day at school my friend was telling me his brother was buying a "goat." Since I actually had a goat, I was not impressed. On the way home from school though, his brother picked us up. Another badass car right out of the factory.

He bought his from a guy on a farm a few towns over and it too had a little cartoon roadrunner on it. It was supposed to be the same blue that was in the picture I posted but it was faded to a sky blue. It had a 400 in it which was the engine that seized. Dummy forgot to change the oil when he bought the car. But it was ok because he planed on swapping out the engine anyways and this just speed up the process. He dropped a 440 in that he pulled from a demolition derby car he bought at auction. It was what I would call a "ghetto" build because he really didn't care what the outside looked like. But damn that thing was fast. It was funny to see some douche pull up in his WS6 or Z28 and look at us and laugh. Only to be left in cloud of smoke and deafened by the exhaust note (it was a straight pipe).
LOL I remember we put a small piece of duct tape on the "400" on the hood to make it say "440".
His sister also got a rusted out 71 or 72 mustang mach 1. We hated her for it because it was such an awesome car and she treated it like shit!

When I was about 15, I was talking to my father about how shitty our 1968 Chrysler Newport was. It was my mom's car, and just wasn't cool and she drove it like...a mom. The guys at my highschool after all were driving Cuda's and Chevelles.
So my father grabs me by the arm, drags me out to the car and sez "git in." He peeled out of the drive way, and turned on to the road and lit the frikken tires up for a very long time. There was smoke in the car. He kept it in "low" and cranked it up to 70, while laughing. I thought mom's piece of shit was pretty cool after that. 383 with a two barrel. I can only imagine what he would have done with a 440.

Hey GT,
I think that you had mentioned that you live in a small apartment. Where do you keep all of the models that you have built so far? Do you keep them? Do you give some of them away, or do you sell the finished models? Or do you build the models for the company that you work for, and they send them out to various stores for display purposes?
You must have built hundreds, if not thousands of models by now.
Just curious.

I display most of my finished works for hobby shop.
I keep the rest of my works for putting box in my house.
I don't bring model kits that's for my job.

Great work gtlm....
I've always appreciated fine scale modeling.. The OCD side of me fits perfectly with the attention to detail part. However, the impatient side of me clashes horribly with it. ;)

I forgot good paints for warhammer.
One of my friend use that paints. Metal color was very nice.
Maybe, it's too small to use airbrush for warhammer.
Only Paintbrush work is enough. OK, I try to show how to paint
military figure in next time.
