Shared Music

Does anyone know of a decent music sharing site? I tried Limewire and that works ok, but so many viruses and whatnot. If I knew how to record music from radio stations I play on my computer, that would be better, but Im not sure how to do that.

i heard about torrent, never looked into it...i like music that is popular now, old classic rock, very little 80s, alternative...pretty much anything but country, heavy metal or gangsta rap.

I've got bit torrent and it's not bad. I had limewire for music but it sucked and a lot of the songs were really crappy versions, or even recorded off the radio. I can't wait to get my fiber so I can download faster!

well if you just want to discover new music (and are in the US cuz now they only accept US IP address...) an easy (Legal) way is to go on Pandora.com
it don't let you download music but you input a song or artist you like and it pulls out a list of music similar to it. and you can listen to the entire songs withought commercials and stuff. select what you like and dislike and it eventualy plays only stuff you like if you listen to it often.

True, I guess I'm just lazy. So I use Second Life for my music needs. :p

my nieghbor has torrent but for movies and music but, i use albumbase it lets u download full albums and depending on your comp between 5 to 15 min. you do have to download winrar and it ask you after 30days u must buy it but i just push X or close when it ask me that it doesn't affect my thing, plus you can always erase the program and redownload it.
