hello, names ben. my wife and i have been in okinawa for 3 yrs. we have covered almost every square inch of the island, except south of naha, havnt been there to much. 2 yrs ago we backpacked the whole northern perimter of the island from our house in chibana all the way north on the east side and back down west side. it was 12 days of backpacking and camping. since then we have bicycled all over the northeren parts and much more. my okinawan friends actually call us their tour guides. anyway if anyone wants to know anything just ask, looking 4 ward to meeting some new people

Thats funny, cuz everyone that knows me is always asking me to take them around. My Okinawan friends say they don't know majority of places I know and they tell everyone I will be their tour guide! Especially when it comes to restaurants!! Its funny tho my husband doesn't knows his way around that well!

Welcome to the forums. Are you at Kadena? I was just there from Feb - May. I loved Okinawa & can't wait to visit again.
