Not sure if this is the right section but its a good video. Its a good look into the business known as "Host" bars. A business that caters to women and rakes in a lot of cash. Some of the men working in the high end host bars can bring in around $50,000(US) a month:w00t:

I was thinking about that. A snack or a host bar would both bring in good amount of people. Maybe a combination would do even better. :D Support both sexes!

Makes me think of this one CSI I watched where it was a "host" situation. Very odd to me. The guy ended up killing this frequent customer......to find out what she was saying was true.....he was her son, she wasn't just saying that to "get close to him". He went into all this lip about what women do to try and real them in.
I dunno, seems kind of an odd way to spend your money. But whatever, mor power to ya if it's your thang
Meh, it's better than spending money at a strip club. At least at a snack/host bar you can have good conversation, which is the big reason a lot of people return I think.

Like hit on in the few min I watch the video.....the prob is the girls fall in "love" with the character/masquerade, its kind of sad for them.
To fall for an invented personality......a figment created by their imagination.

It happens at snacks (the guy version) too. The girls genuinely seem interested in everything you have to say.

That was actually an interesting piece on male host bars. I never knew they existed. It's the same as the girls who are hostesses. I wonder if that sort of thing would catch on stateside. It seems very clear that the customers simply pays for the host's time while at the bar. They don't leave the bar, so there doesn't seem to be any ambiguity about the relationship. I think that's what makes hostess and host clubs acceptable, but "juicy" bars are looked upon as the front door of a whore house. I'd be more likely to go to a host karaoke club with my girlfriends than a strip club. It's a good idea for a bachelorette party.

I know quite a few that work at Host and Hostess Bar here on Oki. Over here its a different scene though. Most are no where near as expensive as what you saw in the video. In fact they're about the same price as a lot of other clubs and bars out there. I go sometimes with my wife its good atmospere with some karaoke and good nama.

That was very intresting. I only got to watch half of it and now I'm waiting for it to load again.
What I thought was funny is that their customers were the exact same as them! There were hookers and soap land girls!
