If that makes the arcade rigged then I might suggest something else maybe a different system for using the arcade, instead of people just making posts to play games.

I have a points system I'm looking to integrate which awards points based on post counts and other things and then setting up the arcade to allow users to play games based on how many points they have. Like, one game per point. Where, if a new registration gave a user 5 points, they could play 5 games.

But it sounds a little complicated, so I don't want to implement it until I have a lot of time on my hands and a good deal of energy.

Yeah, the server day change happens at about 4:30pm since it's hosted in the US and the arcade doesn't run on forum time. I should post a sticky about it as this has come up about four times now and will probably keep popping up every week or two. lmao

Not at all...but I just don't see a need to cry about scores. If you were good enough to do it once, then you should be good enough to do it again!

LOL it was a joke man.. not crying. I was just giving dk a hard time and pointing out a flaw in the system at the same time. FYI -- I have beat the score, numerous times. It hasnt saved one time. Same with the othello-like (cant remember the name but NOT othello) game...and the penguin hitting game... and its not only a problem on one computer.

my post was only half serious too. I really don't care either way, but I do get tired of hearing gripe after gripe of the same thing. Kinda like the wife..."I'm hungry"....2 minutes later "I'm hungry"...1 minute later "I'm hungry" Good god woman, get up and eat something...the foods not gonna just cook itself and then jump into your mouth for you!

You posted, then so many others started in...I'm sure there are problems with the arcade, your pc, or the server, but there are hungry people in the world too...let's focus on your damn poker score ok????

Yeah, I think it was actually a couple months after it was up and going....I had screwed up a post, it looked all wonky and he came in with his magical coding wand and fixed it.....and it wasn't the first time he fixed a post for me, so I think I may have started the thread, giving him crap about always having to fix my errors and I would forever be indebted.

I think it was one of those type of deals.

Dont feel bad man...I've beaten high scores multiple times and it would never save...it's really only with the Angel Bobble game...which just so everyone knows my personal best is 36k+ it wouldn't let me save my score. SO...you not the only one...good luck

anyway.. i got that score at work. my mouse at home is WAAAAAYYYYYY to responsive to beat the score on that game... i over shoot the spot all the time.

one thing i noticed about saving scores is that it only saves your highest score for that game. the biggest problem i've had is with cursor invisible not saving any score. it's a fun game though.

ha ha...the arcade tagged me today. I beat Uchi's score in Mahong and finished the final stage...for some reason it never loaded the new high score! Oh well...off to do it again!
