My name is Eric. I just joined recently. I was at Kadena AFB for only 3 months, but what I great time it was! I was there with the F-22 Raptor unit from Virginia. I did lots of exploring while there & would like to talk with others that may have experienced some of the same things as I did. I found the people there quite friendly. As long as you're not puking on Gate 2 st & acting a fool, the locals don't frown upon you. For those who are on Okinawa & haven't ventured out to Naha's International street, get a move on! Sundays from noon till 6 the street is closed to vehicles & you are free to wander all over, shop, watch street performers & best of all not get run over.
