Love it! <3 Any Japanese grocery store carries it. I buy it by the bag at Jusco.

Kane-hide has them I know that. Aren't they for helping digestion? My wife says they kill bacteria or something like that.

Jusco in Chatan have them my kids always drink them, you can buy them in bags almost any store.

Yes, it does help digestion, kills the bacteria in intestines.

It seems that everyone else replying here might want to take a moment to see that the OP is posting from somewhere other than Japan. So to tell them "where" they can purchase the product here seems to me to be a bit, well uneccessary.

And just to let people know, any convience store or supermarket will have the product. If you are buying them in bags odds are you are purchasing a "look alike" product and not Yakult but something similar.

Yakult has numerous products Yakult UK (http://www.yakult.co.uk/Public/default.aspx)

Have you noticed the ABC and check mark above the smilies when you make a reply?

That is a spell checker as well.

Yes I do notice them captain obvious thank you. Like I said before in other threads, I WAS AT WORK!!! I don't have time to 'go advanced' with my posts since I was at work and use spell check.

Thats why I like firefox, it's already checks your spelling right after you write the word!

Please do not assume that I read all the posts that you make.

That isnt fair to expect, also there is no reason to SHOUT.

I am neither deaf nor blind.

I am getting the feeling here that people have to be mind readers to post on this message board. Please remember, and this is directed towards noone and everyone including myself as well. You are what you write and not what you are thinking or thinking you wrote. If you arent sure ask, if you are sure reference it. Please!

HA! :D I didn't even notice the point of origin for the original poster. My apologies for the preggers brain, or as the husband says, total lack of situational awareness.

Anyhow, for San Diego area, you'll have to go up to Orange county. The store you want is Mitsuwa (http://www.mitsuwa.com/slh2.html) in Costa Mesa. It's tucked behind (what used to be, and may still be) a Chevron gas station. Parking there is terrible though. They're a little overpriced, but the only place to get authentic Asian foodstuff. Good luck! :thumbup1:

To everyone else's credit, I usually do not check the location of a poster prior to replying to them, so I am sure the others didn't think to do this as well. It is generally assumed most poster are from the Okinawa area, though there is a handful of us from else where.

Not arguing against your point, just giving the others a little slack.
