my daily ride is a
team rocky mountain vertex bicycle with race face and shimano xt/xtr components, also has a san marco seat with titanium rails, a carbon fiber easton monkey handle bar, king headset, marzocchi bomber forks, and mavic sup wheels ( with specialized armadillo tires)...if you do not want to have flats spend the extra cash and get the armidillo tires...
.....all of which was really expensive...but what the hell..i have been riding the feather light beast ...for the last 5 years.....and the bicycle should be good for an additonal 5 more years....
on a more boring note....also have a acura rsx/integra, when i go out with my wife......used to be proud of my car too, but since my wife made so much scratches on it...which according to her was, no fault of her own.. of course....my enthusiasim for cars has waned.......a lot.....:)

1999 Nissan Presage, i love my van...
I'd love to be proud of my ride but can't afford to be. I'm definitely not proud of my daily ride - 94 Skyline, 4-door, and automatic :(.
I'm more proud of my low end bicycle which is an 08 Felt F75 (kind of lower end, but nice!), but I can't call it a daily ride, more like monthly.

ryu...if you drove your car down the street in hawaii....trust me you would turn some heads.....
Yeah, I know. I even saw the same one, year, model, mileage and everything for sale on the internet in Europe for like $12,000. I got it for $1,800 - same price as my bicycle. I just don't like it. It's comfortable but that's all it does for me.
My friend in SD had a 04 Acura RSX, that was a nice ride. At that time I was proud of (although did not technically own) my 03 Sentra SE R Spec V.

Man, I bet that Maxima is a nice ride.
I saw a young guy pushin a white Escalade with a Y plate a couple weeks ago. Must be nice but, I can't imagine anything that big here. I have enough trouble with the size of my Skyline.
I think my dream ride for here would be a Mini Cooper, type S, fully loaded and customized.

I have a pretty ordinary bike, but it has solid tyres for cross country. It also has a special attachment for hitching the dogs to.
But, I also have a new Ford Turbo Diesel CMac, and I think I'm in love.
My first brand new fast car ever.:smile4:

I can't do vans, even though an RVR is like a car sized van. I hate the blind spots, how much gas the use, and as of right now... makes no sense for me to drive one when it's only 3 people at the max in it. We've been able to fit a ton in my RVR with the seats folded all the way up, so it works great right now for what we need it for. Besides, if I had a larger van type deal, I'd get calls to help people move. Been there and done that too many times when we had a pick up.
I like that yellow. That was the same color as my SE R Spec V.
I like Trail's avatar too. Wish I was that guy.

Upon arriving in the states, I went to the Nissan dealer and dropped cash on a brand new 2008, Nissan Quest van. This thing rocks, power everything and DVD. Well, I bought it for the wife...
Then, I went and bought myself an old 1994 Honda Civic DX, needs work but that's ok for a grand.
I still have my 2001 Suzuki GSXR1000, if my household goods ever get here!

For internal combustion powered transportation, my daily driver is a Lexus IS350.
For pedal power, I recently replaced my really old mountain bike with a Specialized Rockhopper Comp Disc.
For truly self powered transportation, I "roll" with the Nike Zoom Vomero 3. ;)

I had an 06 Cobalt SS/SC. I loved the whine of the supercharger but had many problems with it. The final straw was when the paint started to flake off in huge pieces....almost filed a lemon law complaint. I took it back and traded it in for my Maxima. It was a good looking car though yellow w/ Recaro seats, premium sound, gun metal wheels and all from the factory no less.
I really miss this car (not the actual one I had but similar) -

this mentality cracks me up. just do whateveryone else does right?

you could live outside your boundaries, meaning, a minty soarer here is an otherwise unaffordable (for some) lexus SC300/400 in the states. so live it up for a few years, and go home and be happy with the isuzu hombre your dad gave ot you.
