My favorite screenshot so far (I'll post it later) is of my wife's character dancing with mine at one of the clubs I used to frequent in-game. Me wearing my priest getup and her dressed as a sexy nun.
We used to get a lot of positive comments for that hehe. I DO love my pumpkin suit too though lol.

LMAO. Well there are more than enough costumes available on that game. I saw a Japanese player decked out in a huge Bumblebee transformers costume. That must have cost him a TON. It was pretty sweet watching Bumblebee breakdance. I would have screenshotted it but he was moving too fast!

So this isn't the BEST pic as my PC is ancient (in computer yrs) and drags a bit.
But I was laughing my butt off!! I had been hula hoopin and when I put away the hula hoop, my chic kept hula-ing. So 10min goes by and she's still going on her invisible hula hoop.
I couldn't decide where I wanted to post this. Thought it could possibly fit in the funny pics with all your invisible pics.
I know, I'm lame, but it really made me laugh!!

There was another girl as well.
To me the short skirts where you have to watch for a hopeful glimpse is more sexy than hangin it all out all the time.
Like Zia's plaid skirt, HOT!
But, that's just me, I suppose.
I prefer Chobi's sexy nun outfit, but she has a plaid skirt as well. :D And pink hair!

Good lord, you might want to start asking around for a real job. :p The only job I've ever had on Second Life was as a club host. That was low, but decent money. Building and Scripting is where the money is at though, so you may want to start learning one or the other.

Been reading up on the scripting myself. I think we are going to have to design and build our own club. We could have multiple dance floors with different music playing. That way we could attract more people with a variety of music!

I see what they mean by "Second Life". It's like a whole other life online. Is it only my thinking, or are sexy thigh-high pantyhose, mini-skirt, habit wearing nuns only in anime style stuff? Dude... the nunnery never looked so good. heh. Still, not enough to peak my interest to join. Kudos to the chobi for nun style. :thumbup1:

And Boost, I'd like to build up my GrooveSeeker club on SL. Lobby + 3 floors. Each floor playing a separate style of music. I'd like to buy my own island, but that's looking to cost a good chunk of change in US dollars. I'll probably not do that unless I can talk the JU boss into investing into this as "new media marketing research".

Exactly. It wouldn't be the first time business has crossed over into SL. I personally think it's a good idea. If nothing else, it opens us up to the idea of other non-traditional forms of advertising.

i don;t think "floors" can have different type of music. maybe different area but not one on top of an other. you'd have to split you sim i think for it to work. not sure tho. but anywya. Clubs don't make money. Sorry to tell you. The only way to actualy make money with a club is if you build it to attrack people to a mall you made. you have to pay for the land, (each month) and what most people do is build a mall call the place "club X & mall" and what you aim for is that you get people to rent rooms in your store and that their rent pays for the land. and if you build if big enough you can cash in. but the club is only there to attrack people to go shopping.

Hmm, so the only way to really make money to to have a mall of sorts attached to the club. I suppose having to have multiple buildings to support various music areas wouldn't be too big a deal minus using a lot more space.
If we could get JU to foot the bill though, money wouldn't be such a big deal as far as renting the land goes! I think it could be fun though. As long as you stop by and visit us now and again! :)

You guys might be able to persuade her to come over and work in your area.....though I dunno if JU would allow that type of business under their name.

Probably not, would have to just be a general dance club with no entertainment. But we could see about an arcade and riding bull and/or other items people could pay to play. At least be another area to generate revenue.
If, say, JU decided to put $100 USD into SL every month, that'd buy approximately $27,000L every month, which I'm pretty sure would foot the bill for a good size building. We wouldn't have to worry about making money ON SL as that's not our target. Our target is using SL as a means of marketing real world business. Kind of like the Reuters building on SL (which you should check out if you haven't already seen).

It's taken me a while, but I'm still not fully "into it". I only log onto SL a few days a week, and usually only just to listen to music. Half the time I'm logged in, my screen is minimized and I'm just enjoying the free psy.trance while I surf the web. :p
I like the idea of it though. The whole "everything that exists was created by another player" open-sourced aspect of the whole thing. Pretty neat nifty if you ask me. hehe.
But it is fun to explore with a few friends.
