LEAD: Police seek arrest warrants for 3 Sea Shepherd activists+
Once the warrants are obtained from the Tokyo District Court, (http://search.breitbart.com/q?s=Tokyo%20District%20Court&sid=breitbart.com) the three men -- two with U.S. nationality aged 30 and 41, and a 28-year- old Briton -- will be placed on an international wanted list, the police said.
The Metropolitan Police Department allege that the three halted a ship belonging to Japan's whaling fleet in international waters south of New Zealand (http://search.breitbart.com/q?s=New%20Zealand&sid=breitbart.com) on Feb. 12 last year by getting a rope caught in the ship's propeller.http://www.breitbart.com/article.php?id=D92KDRRO2&show_article=1
4TH LD: Police obtain arrest warrants for 3 Sea Shepherd activists
Tokyo police obtained arrest warrants Monday for three environmental activists from the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society for interference in Japan's whaling activities in the Antarctic Ocean in February last year.
The Metropolitan Police Department criticized Sea Shepherd's activities as "extremely malicious" and "equivalent to terrorism," while referring for the first time to the Convention for the Suppression of Unlawful Acts against Vessels at Sea.

so....who do I know that is going to the "Big House" when they get caught?
Going to be interesting to see how or who actually is going to arrest these guys.
But it is uncertain whether the Japanese police will be able to arrest the suspects unless they are caught in the United States, South Korea or other countries that have an extradition treaty with Japan.
It's a symbolic move by the government imo, but these guys are not going to stop their activities imo because to them what Japan is doing is illegal as well.

Yep, true that. Still, I'm no fan of Sea Shepherd.

I agree, they dont seem to care one bit about whether or not someone gets hurt or worse killed.

Why would they. They set less value on a human life than they do achieving their aims.
Which are
At least 20 pages of very boring argument which I really can't be bothered to go into yet again.
Be nice if they got caught though.:scratchchin:

Pretty sure you really don't have many people left to argue with. I mean, those who would argue with you on this have most likely left the forum. Not sure yet if that's for good but there has been a huge drop in animal-related threads made in the past month.

I don't have any intentions whatsoever of arguing about animal rights .
My interest is confined to the animals I own.
I no longer hold the same views re. animal rights, so I have absolutely nothing to argue about.
Everyone can have whatever views they want. It wont affect me.
Maybe they've just got bored arguing a subject that will never be resolved.
