Indeed. But I can't take credit for finding and posting it. That goes to Eel.

Love the expression on the Jpn official's face when he finally realizes the meaning of the question about killing a few Japanese for research purposes. Almost expected him to ask the guy what quota would be possible without damaging the stock. lol.

Sea Shepherd chief Paul Watson been honoured for his work in protecting whales at a ceremony in Queensland.

Mr Watson was named a Wildlife Warrior by Terri Irwin, the widow of Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin, at Australia Zoo, on Queensland's Sunshine Coast, on Thursday. ...

"Paul is a Wildlife Warrior in every sense of the word," Ms Irwin said.

"He put his life on the line to defend the ocean's great mammals and in doing so has saved 500 whales.

"What an effort. I know Steve Irwin would be proud."

Yeah, my wife was watching the news last night, saw a story on it, and she said Jpn officials from the whaling industry here were furious, and are planning to try and sue Sea Shepherd.

With rising fuel costs and not being able to sell enough whale meat to support their "research", I doubt they will be able to keep justifying this black hole they keep sinking money into.

w00t!

No sweat TP. It's a matter of time before Japanese opinion catches up with them, and economics forces the end of "research."

I haven't heard yet if the three boarding crewmen from the Sea Shepard have been released from Oz custody yet.
