We have progress! A few supermarkets at a few branches will be trying out this new system, but dont rush to buy your own shopping bag yet, looks like it will take another 6 months for them to try it out.
Could not help smiling at the 'we will try this out to see if the customer likes it or not'.
Most of the consumers are NOT going to like it! It will have to be enforced, in
order to make it become a way of life.

I was at our local market tonight and they had green cloth bags for $.99
I was really surprised to see them less than $2 or $3 which is usually what I have seen them for.

I guess paper is not an option!?
No its not an option, and just to let people know the supermarkets here have been pushing the idea of B.Y.O.B., not beer but bag:D for some time now. They even give extra points on the members card that many of them have.

It makes sense too, dont some places back in the States charge as well?
