Why must people be offered a reward in order to do a good deed? What ever happened to being satisfied just knowing that you helped someone else out and made their day?

I served my country for 4 years in the USMC I think that's enough.

OOORAH - what about the guys serving who would NEVER even consider keeping someone else's money they found in an identifiable wallet?

You don't get extra points for doing what you're supposed to do - it's service above and beyond the call of duty that MEN respect.

Yeah, you're one "of the good guys" - so was Charles Manson, I suspect, in some people's eyes.

Good guys don't walk around tellin' others that they're good guys. Good guys are recognizable by what they DON'T say!

And that plays into this conversation how?

:edit:

The whole "I served in the military so treat me differently than everyone else" is a bunch of bull IMO.

Yup two threads about money or the lack thereof and its no wonder neither one is paying off. Adding up all the two cents from both might pay the ticket for some cheap entertainment however.:)

I asked about the reward in jest. I think this thread started out as a lie or a joke. Maybe I am wrong but it makes more sense than all these people losing all this money at the same time.

Vvloc. I agree with this post 110%. You are right, in fact most of you are and I am glad that my posts have outraged people. I will sleep better tonight knowing that there are more hosent people in this world that I thought.

Congrats man. Like I said I just used that as my good deed since I can't think of anything else at the time and I feel my time in is where I had the most positive impact on the world than any time so far.

I found some money, and I was counting it in a taxi to Chi-Chi's. When I got there I forgot the money in the cab... Like they say," A fool and another fool's money are soon parted..."
