One of my favorite things to do on island is go geocaching up north. Hiking though the mountians and/or the jungle up north is very peaceful and relaxing IMO. While I'm on hikes I like to see what types of animals and bugs I can find. So I thought I'd make up this thread to post pictures and stories about interesting wildlife you've seen on island.

I'll start it out with something my coworkers and I found today while at work. Didn't know what it was at first. Thought it was a worm but then I found a dead one and it had visible scales and a spine (which rules out it being a worm). Did some googling and found out it was a Brahminy blind snake.

Yeah once we saw it I thought it was a worm at first. But then noticed it didn't compress and stretch it's body to move like a worm, nor did it have segmented body like a worm, and it moved like a snake. Then once we found the dead one and could see it's spine I knew it was not a worm. So I keep googling different stuff and finally came across it once I did a search for blind snake.

It was cool, after observing it up close I could see it stick out it's teeny tiny little forked tongue.
