I didn't realize they gave classes. Must be a new thing? Probably trying to offset the Post Allowance like my shop is. Giving classes myself too!

I mean I'm giving classes on other subjects where I work. The kennels are part of my same flight, so I'll ask tomorrow. Someone should chime in by tomorrow though.
What kind of dog?

I have a 20lb. Oki-mix. She's a good dog but I would just like to brush up what I have taught her and then some before baby arrives. Not sure what Taco has.

I'll look into it as well. My Mastiff needs some learning. He shrugs off a choke collar like nothing.

Hate to hijack the thread guys but Tanimaga, how much did it cost to get your Mastiff to Japan? Or did you get it while you were there?
We are due to PCS there at the end of the year and we have a 120ish lb Mastiff. We absolutely do not want to leave her behind but we do not have a bank to pay her way with.

I picked him up here about a year ago. Probably about the same reason you are having as well. An Army guy got him from a family, and he had a immediate PCS without any way to ship him. Luckily, I'm a permanant resident, so no PCS'ing for me.
What type of Mastiff is she? Mine's a French Mastiff about 170lb. or so.

Mya is an English Mastiff. She is just over 16 months old and is 120 lbs. Shes a big girl. I would absolutely HATE to leave her behind, but if we can not bring her with us we hope to leave her with my dad. :(

I went in awhile back to inquire about obedience classes and they had me fill out some paperwork and said they would contact me once they had enough people signed up. The cost is about $140 for two weeks worth of basic training. I don't remember how many days per week though. ??

Two days a week for 2 weeks I believe. Seems like alot of cash considering it's 18th Services. Four days, but don't know how many hours.

I agree, it does seem like a lot money. Well, if I follow through with it I'll post whether or not I thought it was worth it.
