Is there such a thing over there?
In Australia we've fully furnished apartments for short term rental. I'm looking for something in/near Naha for 10 days.

I would book yourself a package with ANA or JAL...they both operate hotels here in Okinawa and you can usually get a good deal.

As for the apartments, I'm sure that there are some, but I can't think of any offhand.

Blacktulip, are you coming alone or with someone?

If alone, I would recommend staying at a business hotel. Not really an apartment, and a little small, basically a small efficiency type room, but the cost is usually cheap.

Other than that, if you really want a roomy spacious feeling, I recommend you do the package thing like Dr.P said.

Any particular reason why you are thinking of relocating to Okinawa?

I PM'ed you the info. The place I gave you has single rooms in Naha almost directly across from the toyoko inn mieabashi. Their twin bed place is in naha by union.

I'll be going there by myself! ;( My high school friend was supposed to meet me there but he stuffed up his leave application applying for leave in Oct instead of Aug! ARGH! We'd communication break down. ;(

I was thinking about short term rental apartment because it's generally cheaper than hotel with special weekly rate. I've actually found quite a few on Japanese websites but I can only read the kanji and basic Japanese. Still managed to communicate with my limited Japanese. :D

JSSAUCE thanks a lot for the info! :D It looks much better than the ones I've found, and they accept credit card! :D I hate carrying cash and don't normally have more than $5 in my wallet.
