What do you think about Scientolgy?

I don't know a lot about it myself, but I have read/heard things over the years. The other night, scientolgy was the brunt of jokes on the TV show Boston Legal. I'm just putting this out there to see if there are followers amongst us or do you think this is all a bunch of baloney?

I think it's pretty easy for a Science Fiction writer to invent a religion.

And I'm also pretty sure this isn't the first time.

Not only money, but the fact that he could control people. It's an interesting religion, but he should have just left it as a science fiction story/theory rather than taking it to the next step.

Does he really believe it? It's pretty cuckoo. I forget how he claimed to have received the "gospel" of scientology. How did that happen?

Oh believe me, I am not looking to join those guys, just wanted other opinions of them! I had never really looked into it, just heard about it on TV, saw a few high brow celebs joining and what not. They sound like a bunch of freaks to me!
