View Full Version : The "Thank You" thread.
A thread to thank a forum member who helped you out in any way.
I have many, many people I could thank but tonight I want to thank Vvloc.
Thank you for your kind words, for listening without judging and making me feel like something that has often been pointed out as a flaw is actually an asset.
Thank you :)

Actually I thank you ALL. Even those I disagree with. I learn much from you, and that becomes a part of me too. I fully realize that at times(?) I can be crass, snide or one of the thousands of other words for @$$hole, and I appreciate your tolerance.

I must jump on this as well....and say thanks to everyone. I have learned a lot from the forum. From everyone....even if we have not always seen eye to eye.
Thanks everyone!

I thank my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, God the Father, and the precious Holy Spirit who love me more than life itself.

I'd like to say thanks to many of you on JU!
Most of you on here have put up with in the ChatBox on those boring work days or late at night when I lonely.
Also I'd like to thank all the people who actually participate in the threads, even though I'm not big on posting I'm always reading and finding out new and interesting things or laughing at some of the comments made.
It'll be a year in July that I've been on the forum. This is the longest I've been committed to something...so thank you, again. :D
Thanks to everyone for taking with a grain of salt, my young-minded, radical, and liberal Christian ways ????
Oh, and for everyone who participates and is interested in food topics. Without food topics I may not remain in this community much longer.

Holy Shit! That's three people man!
Manure cannot be classified as "holy."
Would you like for me to explain this again on the "Religion" forum?
Just to be sure that this thread does not get off track, I would like to thank the barber who cut my hair last week. He did a great job. Even though he cut my "widow's peak" and caused my wife to complain, I give him a thumbs up. :thumbup1:
I would also like to thank the guy who was driving in the car down a certain street one day who stopped to let me make a left turn. Thank you so much for actually honoring the red light and not speeding through it, thus causing an unnessary accident. Thank you sir. The world would be a better place if there were more like you.

I have met a lot of good people here. C6, dk, Don, Trail, and Tae have treated me like an old friend. Otis, Obe, Fist as well. I hate to mention names because I know I am forgetting people. Nav, socal, Odie- So many people here who care about me.
Island for putting up with my shit, Roxy for her calming influence on the bad days. Thistle who never lets me slide on my bs. TP for making me look so good. The list is endless! The car guys like Cursed...

I'd like to thank everyone here whom I've bullied verbally and who still decided not to stick pins in their Ian Brody voodoo dolls. (At least so far as I know.) No sudden mysterious pounding headaches.
I'm very thankful for their patience for putting up with occasional rants.

I'd like to thank dk for having this up and running for us so that we can act smart and have people we don't know think we are cooler than we actually are. Plus, if it wasn't for this place I would actually have to get work done.
Next, everyone else. Even if you didn't put me on your list.
Lastly, Weebl for crabs, blimps, badgers, and cat face!

Well I already wrote a thank you to JU forums thread the other week.
I thank you all, for being here, every day!
I'd like to thank everyone. You guys are what make this forum great. I'd especially like to thank the Hard Reef crew for all the Friday night fun and for buying me drinks when I didn't even have Y200 in my wallet... You guys are great. I'm really happy to have met every single person that I've met, even those of you who constantly gripe about my way of running the forum. :D It's too small of an island to be pissed off at someone for more than a day, in most cases.

I thank you for the good times shared, and laughter. For your help when I needed it the most. For those who stood by through thick and thin. Even when I said some things that shouldn't have been said. Accepted me for a friend and didn't ignore me. That, to me is TRUE friend. I respect that deeply.

Who cares?
I would like to thank myself for making wise investments, just so that I could be here.I would like to thank the people in advance, for stripping TP, of his mod status. I would like to thank the people, in advance, for laying off of dumping on Maggie.
Other than that, I don't care.
I would also like to thank the people who would take the time to prevent this forum from turning into what it has been in the past. But with some of the postings that we've seen recently, that probably won't happen.
Like I've said, who cares?

I guess that nobody could tell that I had bad day yesterday.
But on the positive side, I'd agree with just about everyone out there , that there are a lot of folks who've helped me out personally. DoctorP, dk, Mad Hatter, etc....
And my thanks to the rest of the posters out there, who have kept me entertained with your dysfunctional posts.:grin1::old:
