Moving to Okinawa...we need your help please!!!!!

We live in Aichi Ken but we are going to move to Okinawa. We have a baby girl 13 months old...We have permanent visa to live in Japan and japanese driver´s license...
We are going to Okinawa for 10 days in July 12, to look for job, house and day care for our baby...
We don´t have a place to stay yet, I mean if you know any low price place so we could stay for the 10 days I would really appreciate the information and also if you maybe know anywhere we could start our job search...

Kinda put the cart before the horse didn't you? Usually people find a job then move. What type of work are you doing now?

We decided to go there before we move because we don´t know anybody there and there was no way to get to know anything without going there...so if we don´t find anything we are just gonna come back home and think about something else...It´s a trip with a purpose that´s all...
I work as english teacher here but I don´t have any degree...so if we find anything in hotels or resorts it will be ok...Better something than nothing...: )
I am pretty sure that 10 days will be more than enough for us to go everywhere and work hard looking for all kinda jobs, house and school...

I was told there a quite a few hostels in the Naha area, maybe someone on here could help with that. There is also small small "touristy" type rooms available for like 2000 yen a night, I believe there is one right by Araha beach.

I honestly don't know. My wife mentioned the place when we were at the beach and she said the are small, simple rooms for cheap. I am sure someone on here who is familiar with the area can help out.

As far as hostels, I ran into some Brits and Canadians on Kokusai Street who said the were staying nearly free in Hostels. You may want to do an internet search...

I posted this hostel's name before, it is near Araha beach, good central location and 2,000 yen per night. Verysmall building.
lol, now I can't remember but I pass it all the time ......if you want I will check and let you know.

But Honestly I don't think 10 days will be enough time to find a job in Okinawa.

A little while back I saw them advertising on 'Gaijin pot 'for people to work at the resorts, the pay was very low, but accommodation and food was all included.

We´ve already made a reservation in a nice hotel (not too expensive though) we decided to expend a little bit more because of or baby...
