If one doubts I believe a statement I have said, one need only ask. If I ask something as a question, do not assume that is a statement of belief. If I proffer something with "I wonder if" or "Maybe" or "Perhaps" it is exploring those things even I myself am not sure of.

I know many are "smilie dependent" for catching facetiousness or sarcasm, and even I can find it hard to detect at times, but if those comments are written in such an absurd way that goes against most of the body of my (or anyone's writings), one should be able to catch that sarcasm without it being spoon fed.

For example, when I say something like "Good all those monk seals are gone. They were in competition with our fisheries industries. So long and thanks for all the fish," one should know from being familiar with my writings here that that is sarcasm. Sure, a newbie would be forgiven for not catching it, but those who have read at least 5 or 10 posts of mine on AR should be able to catch that. That is just one example.
