View Full Version : In the IRR; got a question
I'm coming up on my 1 year anniversary of being in the IRR. Well, I got on MOL today and checked out my status and this is what it says under the Record Information section: "RECORD STATUS: E SEP/DESERT/REC STATUS". That "DESERT" scares the hell out of me! Could someone let me know if that's normal or should I be expecting a surprise when I fly back to the States after my kid is born?

The e code is for seperation. I would check with your reservist station and make sure you have not been called up or something. If you have been meeting the requirments as an IRR then you should be in the clear.
Alright, well I just called some people on Camp Foster and they said that is all one code that just means I'm separated. They assured me I'm not classified as a deserter so that calmed me down. I was scared because I'm not actually sure if I've been doing what I need to do for the IRR. They have my address and stuff, but I never got anything from them. I figured if they needed something, they'd let me know.

Have you arrived back to Camp Foster? If so, was everything good to go, concerning the RECORD STATUS: E SEP/DESERT/REC STATUS ?
