I was wondering if there is any Hmong people here on Island? I know 1 family moved back to the States, but I am just checking to see if there is any other Hmong people here.

American people have never heard of Hmong people! Accept for some that have served in Laos/Thailand/Vietnam back in the days of WAR.

Are we the only one's here still?

It was my understanding that the Hmong are one of many Laoasian ethnic groups? At any rate, I have met people from Laos here both military and civilian. They tend to be put into the "Thai" box, since many of them speak each other's language- especially the Issan Thais- but for the most part, one must ask them where they are from. (or at least I do)

yeppers thats about true... I always ask people where they are from, cuz its so hard to find foods I need on this Island! I need to find some connections to get food I need here...Anyways my daughter wants to know more about Hmong and speak it, since I forgot most of it.
