Hmmm, pretty sure marijuana music has been around since at least the sixties...

60's? More like forever. People have been using hemp/cannabis for medicine, ritual, and recreation pretty much since the beginning. So I would guess that there have been (oblique at least) references (reeferences?) to it all along.

Cab Calloway, Louis Armstrong, and many other American musicians sang openly about it. The words to the song "La Cucharacha" are about it.

Even much more recently, Cypress Hill, Kottonmouth Kings and others have sang openly and loudly about pot.

Nothing new. Just "taboo" since Mellon and DuPont backed Harry Anslinger's racist campaign against something that had been an integral part of the world's economy since the dawn of time.

Don't get me started!

And no, I didn't go to "drug school" to learn that either. I just like finding the truth for myself about different things, especially those things that my government hates for no apparent reason.
