Boston or L.A. Lakers

am thinking that boston will win most of their games at home until the lakers pull out in the end and win the series. the lakers are a scoring machine and play good defense. boston excellent defense, but have trouble scoring. i dont know why?, really it confuses me...maybe because they have too many stars and fragile egos?

of course boston could close out kobe, and then you can say adios to the lakers. because the fortunes of the lakers are cemented to the fortunes of kobe.

am thinking that their are too many mind games on the boston side, and none on the lakers side. lakers are all about kobe. kobe is a nba god.... and if the gods choose to shine on one of their own, then sit back and watch the master and enjoy.

Why? Celts defense is suspect and full of holes. I see Kobe and the lakers running high pick and roll all day. After watching the detroit series, Boston have no clue how to defend it for the life of them. Defender either cant get thru the screen or they dont switch fast enough. I see Gasol setting the pick, Kobe cutting the corner either popping a jumper or attacking the basket all day. The Lakers execute this to near perfection. With Gasol setting up at the top of the key, he'll draw the big man out of the box. Gives Kobe all the room he needs.

feel that boston will win the first game. they have too, and it is a must win. the older guys on the boston side have had a lot of time to rest, and should be able to play awesome defense on the "lake-show".

take away all the bs from the personable "expert opinions", on espn, fox, your local sport news, and look at bostons record at home. they dominate. am giving the 2.5 points, for this first game.

by the 3rd, fourth game, am thinking that boston will get worn down. like the spurs did..:cursing:

if the "lake show" do take the first game however...then the "magic johnson" ..voodoo is in full force, and it is a done deal.

What do you mean they stole game 1? They one by ten and are at home where they have the best record in the league. If LA won then you could say that LA stole game 1. Maybe I missing something. I know LA is the favorite if that's why you think Bos stole game one.

i'd like to say that everything is always earned in sports, but sometimes its not, namely due to bad calls. sometimes a team does get robbed. but think that boston earned the last win with pure hustle.
both teams will make adjustments and like boston to win game no. 2 plus the 1 point.
feel that home court will be a strong determining factor in these playoffs, in determining who wins what game.
