It's hard for me to go along with some of those choices......I guess they are too far out of my generation, and also knowing that they are slow, can't stop or handle worth a damn too. Kinda like that feeling you get when people show you pictures of models who are 6'3", 105 lbs, wearing a high 'n tight and a unibrow.......thinking that's gorgeous.

Where's the corvette?

The journalist who put that together was obviously biased. Where's the 911 for that matter, lots prettier than the 356. And anyone who omitted the famous Cord would automatically be drummed out of the fraternity.

The Citroen DS was always considered the epitome of an UGLY car.... But the models that preceded it were very cool.

I'm a little partial to his choices though, having owned 2 of them.

Which single Corvette model would you include? The original ones were pigs.

I'd include the 68 stingray if it was me making the list. I find just about every corvette beautiful but those C4 stingrays (68 - 71) were just amazing IMO.

I agree with you about the 911, that one should have been in there. I've always been a fan of the 911. I like the new model but there is something about the old 74-83 models. Always thought they were a sharp looking car:thumbup:

Anyone know how their sales have fared after the twin towers fell? Just wondered if the American consumers would be someone shy of that number afterwards. Though if I had to bet on what Rudy Guiliani drove...

This list just doesn't do it for me...my personal list would be quite different. Yeah he was definitely biased! Mostly European cars with just a few Japanese models thrown in.

I'd say the 63 split window........also, anybody partial to Porsche 550 Spyders?....(the car that James Dean was killed in) God I worship those things! Look around the 'net and see how cheap the replicas are......I'm talkin' in the $20K range, and of course, they're street legal. They have a mid-engine hopped-up bug motor with dual Webers, weigh 1650 lbs. and are quite drool-worthy. "The closest thing to motorized sneakers"...
