housing rumor...

cant share my souce, but I heard that everyone from O'Donnell gardens housing will be moved onto kadena (or other base housing) starting next year, so that these older then dirt, houses can get referb'd.
Anyone know if its a bad rumor or what??? I would LOVE to get outta here!

oh yeah, i know that! That was where the first house they offered us was. I was crying walking threw it! that is how we got stuck on Sheilds. But i guess I cant complain to much, its a million times better then those houses!!!

We live in Kadena Heights and the housing here is decent. It's not new but not bad for being older housing.

I live in O'Donnell Gardens, and have had nothing but problems since we moved in 2 months ago..mosquitoes...they thought I was crazy until they found 3 pipes leaking under our building, and beds of mosquitoes breeding under our house...they replaced pipes, we will see what happens....BUT I heard the same thing about moving. They are up for renovation this fiscal year....'08.

Housing will be rennovating continuously. Since it costs them money to move people around, they will try to do it by attrition, then not filling units in specific areas untill the rennovations are complete.

If "I" had any housing questions, I would simply call them and ask....

I was told by one of the managers of housing that they are "supposed" to be renovating starting the end of this year/beginning of next year....we will see if that really happens or not.

we moved in, in Dec 07 and we have had TONS of problems also. Im annoyed and Im hoping possibly we get something a little better then this..but who knows?!

Well, when we moved into Sebile Manor 4 yrs ago, they told us that we would be moving in less than a year for home renovations.Well we're still waiting!
