Northwest airlines filed bankruptcy (http://money.cnn.com/2005/09/14/news/fortune500/northwest/index.htm) a few years ago. I think they held the contract though several years ago. I suppose it's not a huge deal which airline has the contract, as long as the plane doesn't crash. :) heh.

I heard its an Airbus 330 with about 20 fewer seats than the prev. carrier. Will run on Thursdays and not Saturdays for rest of fiscal....
