Yes, I was suddenly submerged in it at 9.00am yesterday, thought I was not going to make it into my little bldg. on r.58., but the flood waters cleared away just in time.(relief..)

Well, I somehow managed to screw this thread up.

The guys who added the story to the database had some formatting errors which messed up the xml feed that this story was read from. In my fixing the text of the story, a duplicate thread was created (as has happened before).

Since thistle's post was posted before this thread was added, when I moved his original post here, he picked up ownership of the thread.

Congrats thistle. You are supreme in this thread. :D

Heh I was stuck at work because of that. I water coming off the base and going over 58, and if you went he other way on the flight line there was standing water about a meter deep.

Heh some woman tried to cross the water and her car got stuck. It's still sitting there on the side of the road. That car isn't running anytime soon.

Thank god for diesels! I can roll right through that stuff as long as I take it slow and steady! I had to drive through a lot of it Friday night...and saw quite a few cars stuck on the side of the road that didn't quite make it!

heh, suckers. i stayed home and watched the moat around the apartment fill up fast. :D glad y'all made it through okay.
