Well it is quite well known here in Japan as well. There was a huge new half boom in Japan a few years back with clubs all over the place. There was one here in Okinawa called SugarBoys that featured new-half's from the Phillipines, they were unbelievably beautiful.

I have a trans gender friend. She was in for a physical and the doctor that was examining her asked her when she had a hysterectomy. She told the doctor, never, that she use to be a he. The doctors response was that he couldn't tell. I personally have never seen the results of her surgery and frankly I don't want to.
