I'm sitting here eating a PB and J and I want to know what everyone's favorite sandwich is. I don't care if it's handmade, store bought, or restaurant made. We eat A LOT of sandwiches in our house and I am curious what you all prefer.
*Note: Yes Wax, a Gyro counts as a sandwich :star:

my favorite sandwich is a sex sandwich. I'd be the meat right between Shania Twain and Faith Hill.

Damn you sex:cursing:....I still have two hours to go before lunch.:crying:

BLT's are good but I can thank the Banyan Tree for ruining them by giving me food poisoning via a BLT. I used to LOVE bacon but I it's only so-so at best now. I'll have to look for that "mayo" and give it a try. I don't truly enjoy a sandwich without mayo or whip unless it has a decent dressing or condiment as a substitute. A roast beef sandwich is GREAT with horseradish mayo....

The Sea Side Sandwich from the Sea Side Resturant in Onna is purty darn good also. Its a triple decker made with that real thick Japanese Bread, toasted, with layers of grilled Oki Ham and lettuce, tomatoes, and the spicy mayo. It's just kinda a far drive.

no, i was there for the beer, got me primed for the world tour at old chicagos
When I was a kid it was Dill pickles, American cheese, and Miracle Whip, on white bread and it's still good sometimes.
My taste has broadened now and here's my faves in order from best down:
Pittsburgh sandwich from the original Primanti Bros. or when I make them at home (basically any kind of meat cheese and bread but what makes it a Pittsburgh is the cole slaw and french frys IN the sandwich).
My homemade burger/ cheese steak / or any other sandwich that I make. It's always different, always unique, always artery clogging, and always makes you wish you were a cat so you had 9 lives to eat them daily until (your most likely early) death.
Monte Christo
Home made Hot dog topped with cheese and various other toppings. For the bun - grab two Kings Hawaiian Sweet Bread rolls (still stuck together) and sice them lengthwise :)

It's sweet pickeld peppers, swiss cheese and your choice of meat on sourdough bread. I like lot's of mayo on mine.
This is one damn good sandwich if I ever open a truck stop this will be on the menu and at the front door a big neon sign SSS!!

I enjoy sandwiches, but don't know that I have a FAV. Just depends on my mood & what I am feelin.
Philly steak, turkey, or chicken are usually good picks home or out.
Had an interesting sandwich today at a local bread company....instead of mayo & mustard- they put in a thin layer of egg salad. Then letuce, mato, & onion fixings

Well after Tony finally went to Sunabe Gyros he would have to say gyros are his favorite sandwich.
Well, if that's the first Gyro you've had, they're good, but you're in for a treat next time you go to a good Gyro joint in the states...............

I miss Greek restaurants. There's nothing like a gyro, some spinach pie, and then a piece of baklava washed down with sweet red wine.
mmmmmmmmmmm, hungry........

Well, back in the states it would have to be just about anything from Quiznos or a good homemade Philly (I am from Pa) cheesesteak sandwich or cheesburger sub!
Over here... Whatever my pea sized brain can think of to slam between two pieces of thick Japanese bread. Usually something with Salami, provolone cheese, lots of onions, lettuce and Kewpi!

Ewww.... :barf:
I made a sandwich recently inspired by a hot dog I had on the street in Seoul. Well, I only had hamburger buns so.....
Grill or broil a hot link (spicy sausage) to desired doneness (black-ish). slice length wise then in half, place on toasted burger bun. Top with Provolone, shredded cabbage mixed with yuzu mayo or regular mayo, and ketchup. Dig in...

Roast Beef Sandwich on Rye bread
The roast beef should be brown on the outside and bleeding on the inside for that juicy flavor (I'm like a mosquito) lettuce, tomato, and of course provolone cheese cant forget the provolone.
Top that off with some Jalapeno peppers and you got yourself a sandwich fit for a king, making me miss Joes Cafe in Korea

Years ago, the Commissary on Kadena had a little spot in the back that made sandwiches to order. They were amazing. Now that spot is gone and a little piece of my happiness with it.
The deli at the Foster commissary makes sandwiches and they're unforgivably horrible.
