Some poor girls in the bars out there are waiting for dedicated party animals to keep supporting them
Some of them are still going through college for god sake!!! :crying:

Who knows now. I originally heard around Memorial Day. But that was just scuttlebutt.

I heard at least a couple more weeks.
Edited to add:
My apologies I think the curfew will remain but they might lift the no drinking thing in a couple of weeks.
Sorry there Dark.

don't quote me on this, but 2 weeks and it'll get reviewed again. I think it'll just get eased back into normal, and what I mean is drinking allowed but cinderella liberty for another month and then normal red/gold liberty. I doubt he'll just let us loose coming off a 10pm dry liberty.

If the patrol can go into the bars, I really don't care. There is really only one bar I go to that has a lot of americans in it. Hell, most of the time I don't even go to the bar!
I kinda hope they bring back the blue/silver card program for the air force. I had to actually earn my silver card, not have it handed to me like most people. They did tell me to hold on to it, so that gives me a little bit of hope!

you can quote me on this because i was in a meeting the other day concerning this matter. there will be a meeting to re-evaluate the curfew in ten days. since the meeting was on the 19th then i would have to say the new word on the curfew would be put out sometime around the 29th. basically the end of the month......

You know, if you got caught on the street by liberty patrol all you really have to do is run. They're all in their dress uniform normally, and they ain't moving anywhere fast in those:D

I would love to see them come to Naha:thumbdown:
It wouldnt surprise me one bit if the owners down there didnt allow them access either. I know that if it was my bar I sure the hell wouldnt.

There was supposed to be a meeting today at 1300. We probably won't get the official word till tomorrow but from what I understand the curfew won't be totally lifted. There will just be different restrictions in place.
