I was planning getting a very good PS3 deal on ebay, problem is I dont want to bid and end up not being able to get it. My question is basically, what is out shipment restrictions? Are we considered international, or not because we have a zip code? Is there UPS or FEDEX anywhere in okinawa? You guys understand me right, because most sites wont ship to apo/fpo's. How do I get around that?

Ask first before you bid on an item. I always ask if they ship to FPO/AP address and the let them know I can only receive from a USPS and also a customs form must be attached to the box. 6 out of 10 will ship. There will always be deals out there so don't get pissed they don't ship to Fpo ap.

FedEx will deliver to your door. UPS will deliver, but they hand off to Black Cat for delivery here in Japan, DHL will also deliver to your door but are more expensive. Best bet is USPS Priority Mail.

I buy and sell on ebay all the time.. When bidding read all the fine print for shipping. Email them before bidding if they ship to APO/FPO - US address. Many people say they won't, some will charge you a fortune, while some are decent prices! You need to make sure they have a receipt pictured. I do know some guys here who got scammed. I could of hooked you up with a
60gb PS3 for $411.00, last month!
The only shipping you can get on ebay to ship here/oki is priority mail or USPS. Priority mail can take up to 10 days and UPSP can take up to 1 month. And we don't have tracking over here, its best to get it insured.

If the seller won't ship FPO is there a family member in the states who you can have it sent to then they'll ship it here for you? We've had to do that with several items.

I shop on ebay all the time, and most sellers who send to APO,AP consider it stateside. Same prices to ship maybe? When I shop on Amazon/Ebay I get most of my stuff within 7-10 business days. Don't ever order from AAFES though. My Super Smash Bros Brawl was shipped out on the 7th, and it is now the 21st and I still haven't seen it!

Sorry to take over this thread, but I'm not sure where else to go to ask my question. I have a friend serving in the Marines in Afghanistan. I'm living in Japan teaching English and want to send him a postcard and a care package. What is the best way to ship to an FPO from Japan? Would it be better to ship it to my family in the States and have them send it? Or can it go direct from Japan?
Hope you get your Smash Bros. soon!
