How do you think having siblings (or not having siblings) affects who you are as a person?

I think children who don't have siblings tend to be spoiled and are used to having things handed to them. Also tend to have a hard time sharing stuff with others.

Guess it could give an adult a self centered outlook on life.

Well, I learned from alot from thier mistakes, instead of getting in trouble myself. I got the oppertunity to grow up with company! I think it effected me in a positive way.

As an only child, I was spoiled but not a brat. I shared my toys, even giving them away much to my parents' dismay, probably to get other kids to play with me. I always wanted a baby brother as a kid, but we got a dog instead. We then had to give the dog away, because we went on a month-long vacation. As an adult, I tend to be able to handle solitude and group situations well. I still have issues when I don't get what I want when I want. That's what my husband is for though. heh. :D

Remember China's one-child policy? Now think about a billion people who don't like sharing.
