It's raining so hard right now that every window in the house is leaking. NICE. I haven't bothered stuffing towels in most of the windows yet, but that bubbling noise is getting a little irritating.

This is my laundry room window. Yay for water!

My front door was leaking when the storm approached the east side of my apartment, and as moved to the west side my balcony doors started leaking. Nothing too major though! My shiba did decide to pee on the curtains because it was too bad to go outside.

GREAT show, lots of noise, and plenty of water. Nothing too bad though. I saw some pictures of the northern camps (Courtney, etc.) and some of the housing on Foster. I guess some people thought their sheds could withstand 100MPH winds :P. I saw a nice picture of a trampoline that got too friendly with a Skyline. Needless to say, the Skyline lost its back window and the trampoline ended up in a tree :P

I thought the noise would be worse, but the hubby and I slept straight through it and so did our daughter. Awesome!

Well it was pretty crappy where I was staying, Kadena, I had no power for TWO days, I lost two fish and my dog decided to leave presents for me to find with a flashlight and my foot.

EWWW! NOT very nice of the dog!!
During our years there we only lost power one time from a typhoon.

Though we did spend several days without electricity when they had transformer issues in May or June time frame.
neighbors on the street behind us had power so we raided their place for lights, showers & such. Good thing to be in decent relations with your neighbors. :)

my dog decided to leave presents for me to find with a flashlight and my foot.

Well just consider them little presents of love...or perhaps he just wanted to let you know he was still alive and pooping :)

lmao. Well, I guess it could've been worse diarrhea, luckily since I'm just staying there til the end of the month. Then the family will be back so they can deal with it. Here lately the power has been going out almost every night. It's begining to make me mad, but I can't really do or say anything.

I love how kadena tries to save money by turning the power off on certain buildings for a day. The surge sent though the lines after they turn it back on blows fuses, light bulbs, and in some cases whole AC units for huge buildings. Way to go with the money you just saved by turning the power off you can now use it to buy parts to fix the AC unit!

I know, let's just schedule entire bases to have the power turned off once a week, then maybe I can finally get a day off work. Of course finding another solution to saving electricity would be out of the question!!! Kadena knows they're right...........right?? haha
