View Full Version : More soldiers tormenting a puppy for fun

Seems like these soldiers, too, have a sick idea of what entertainment involves. Purposely frightening a puppy for some cheap thrills. What a bunch of losers.

I wonder how they would feel if they were defenseless and a stronger Iraqi man was wielding a knife close to their neck randomly screaming at them and then laughing at their noises of fear and dread they would make.

THAT was messed up. This particular video makes it pretty evident the dog was alive and they were just tormenting it. They need to be burning crappers for a couple of weeks for a "period of reflection". ;)

I'm afraid and sorry to say that if I woke up and there was a dog that ugly curled up next to me, it'd probably get kicked across the room.......until I woke up and realized what I'd done. And NO, that's not me in the video. ;)

Here is a question I would like to ask everyone here......

For arguments sake only, let's say the "other" video of the Marine and the dog had not been shown on the internet, would you still be as outraged at this video here in the OP?

How many people here have teased animal's? Their own pets? A neighbors? Oh and you could say you were just playing around but to the animal? Who knows.....

Personally I wouldnt have given it second thought.

THAT has GOT to be one of the ugliest dogs I've ever seen!

There is a difference between doing it to a child and a dog.

To me the only people that think this way are one's that put animals and humans at the same level, and sorry but I am not one of those.

To each his or her own.

Edited to add....

I know plenty of parents that scare their child for fun on occasion as well. I have done it to my kids and they return the favor to me as well.

Big difference.

Oh no......we are definitely not on the same level. If I was hungry, I'd eat a dog just as quickly and easily as I'd eat a monkey or a cow. So we are not on the same level; however, I think that intentionally scaring the living crap out of an animal for nothing more than pleasure is just wrong and those clowns should be burning crappers for the next two weeks.

It's times like these that I wish we were able to take people like that out back and make them dig a hole big enough to put a 5-ton in. :D

And you're right, there's a huge difference between scaring your kids for fun and scaring the holy crap out of them and continuing when you KNOW they are scared to death.

I never tease animals. No matter what. I dont go even like to kill spiders or ants. I try to get them away without hurting them if i can. I teach my kids the same. I will happily beat the crap out of someone hurting thier pets though. The only thing I hate is mosquitoes. I do smack them if they cant be brushed off. Dang "vampire bugs"...lol.

Then why put the human equation into the example? You are adding a different element into the discussion that takes the conversation on a totally different tangent.

Also how in the world from that video alone can you assume they were scaring it to death? To me your opinion is jaded somewhat from the "other" video.

Oh and you didnt answer my question either...which I will repost here for your convenience.

I personally dont kill spiders because they are more helpful around the house alive than dead. I hate mosquitoes and cockroaches.

I have teased dogs, my own when I was a kid, but back then I guess we would just call it playing with them.:D

This video taken separately from the other one is purely harmless in my opinion.

Sorry.....didn't know we got extra credit for answering the question to "your" satisfaction. If you go back and re-read the post in it's entirety, I did answer the question. The statement about digging the hole was meant as a punishment for something as stupid as the video in question. There was no tangent involved.

I thought the purpose of having a discussion about a particular topic was to discuss the topic as a whole, not one sentence of the whole thing. Let me know exactly what sentence you would like a one sentence answer for.

I've purposefully avoided the other video for the time being, so I'm watching this video knowing nothing other than that there is a possibility some marines threw a puppy off a cliff. Or something...

In this video, they're not frightening the dog. From the looks of it, they're playing with it, and the dog has some pretty strange habits. Ever seen those videos of cats that talk?

If that puppy was frightened, he would have ran away earlier rather than going back to the business of licking it's own privates or whatever it was doing.

Not to mention, the guys were talking the whole time. Big surprise everybody! There's marines behind that rock!!!

With this type of response you would be the wrong person to accurately judge these Marines. What would you do to a Rapist, Murder, Child Pronographer?

I bet you would make them get a lawyer, stand up for their individual rights and give them long jail sentences...

But an alleged puppy killer gets: Thrown over a cliff with jagged rocks..! :thumbup1:

You know I had dog meat once when I was in Korea. Didnt know what it was until after I ate it. A friend of mine gave it to me grilled one night. The way it was cooked and the sauce that it was in was spicy as hell, but it tasted pretty damn good. Even asked for seconds before he told me what I was eating.

Learned one lesson from that, dont knock something till you try it.

Probably wont ever eat it again, but that's not the point.

So I guess now you want to toss me off a cliff for having grilled puppy too!

Puppies don't hurt people, people hurt people, and the lowest of people hurt puppies.

I may have slightly exaggerated but the people you mentioned may or may not deserve a similar death. If a video was posted of a marine killing someone for no reason, that person may or may not have had it coming to them. I'm pretty sure the puppy didn't deserve it.............

I think the movie The Hunted is pretty good.............. I'm tired.......
