I think there is a sub-forum on JU here somewhere dedicated to members' experiences and personal learning routines. Sadly, it's become nothing more than a repository of links.

Making Out in Japanese, the pink covered one avail at BX/Px has some of the best one liners and all the vulgar sayings as well.
