Some guy climbed the fence:) Broke a window at some construction company's office then the alarm sounded, security came etc... had some booze in his system(0.36milligrams) and was holding a stick. Oh yeah this is good. Why in the world he stayed around (1.8meters prox) after the alarm..... sigh*
Oh they used the phrase "snuck out" :D:D More fun to come. So I guess this period of reflection isn't working out so well.
So now maybe the officials will start demanding that all service members, civilians dependents etc.. get chained inside their place of residence after a certain hour because the lock down has now officially failed.:D

People, stop letting your little dumba$$ friends get wasted. If you know somebody who is stupid when they're sober, don't let them drink! And f they do drink, don't leave them alone!!
I am beginning to think they ought to lock everybody up after this, and raise the drinking age to 25 on top of that. How could you do some stupid sh!! like this especially during the lockdown?!?!?
It boggles the mind.

Liberty is a priviledge. Perhaps make people earn it over time once they get here. When you first arrive, you are on lockdown, and as time goes by and you prove a) you are not a moron, b) you are not an alcoholic and c) you have a small amount of morals, then and only then can you venture off base. Without that, no soba for you!

here is the article
NAHA — Police arrested a U.S. Air Force serviceman Sunday on suspicion of trespassing in a private office in Okinawa Prefecture, despite a curfew imposed on all U.S. military and civilian personnel in the prefecture since Feb 20 following the alleged rape of a local junior high school girl by a U.S. Marine.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Airman Second Class Wesley Taft of Kadena Air Base has admitted to the allegation, police said.
According to the investigation, Taft is suspected of breaking the glass door of an office of the Okinawa Contractors Association in the city of Okinawa and entering the office around 6:40 a.m. Sunday.
A security guard, who arrived at the office after its alarm was set off, called the police. Taft, holding an iron pipe, was arrested around 200 meters from the office about an hour later.
Taft's breath smelled of alcohol and he told police that he had crawled through the fence of Camp Shields. The office is located near the fence.

Jinxed us? I would believe that. I can't believe the command will let this pass and give us our off base rights again. At least not now. At least the media got one thing right: Airman Second Class! He will be lucky to wind up as one. How many years has it been since the Air Force had this rank?
